SHORT PROJECT SPECIFICATION:
Perimeter frame:
Stainless steel glazing channel, Marine grade 316.
Fixed back to structure using "Fischer Hammerfix N-S".
Fin boxes and root angles:
Special version of 'Planar' fin boxes and root angles in polished stainless steel including specially designed root angle fitting to suit vaulted head assemblies.
Glass Bolts:
Fins with PSS finished 905J heavy duty structural bolts to connect to the façade glazing.
As recommended by 'Pilkington Architectural'.
Glass: Façade Glass
Clear toughened double glazed units.
Light Transmittance – 75%
Solar Factor – 0.55
Centre pane U value – 1.3W/m2K
Design Wind loading – 1500Pa
Glass: Support fins
Full height toughened support fins, fixed top and bottom into fin box (base) and root angle (head).
Doors:
Clear toughened glass (single glazed) with PSS finished ironmongery.
Door Frame:
'Jansen' polished stainless steel frame around each door set.
